Paul Goldsmith, President:
Paul is an accomplished pilot and businessman. He is a Commercial Pilot with Instrument and Multi-engine ratings with over 25,000 hours logged. His involvement in aviation began during his former career, professional auto and motorcycle racing. Paul began racing motorcycles for Harley-Davidson, and eventually became involved in stock car and Indy car racing. Paul was one of the early heroes of NASCAR and still holds numerous records. His best finish at Indianapolis was 2nd. He was one of the original drivers who began using aircraft to fly to the racetracks in order to save time. He founded G&N Aircraft, Inc. in 1961, which is a well known aircraft maintenance facility specializing in the overhaul and repair of aircraft engines and engine accessories. He also owns the Griffith-Merrillville Airport, Griffith Aviation, Northwest Aviation Maintenance and other businesses located in Griffith, IN.
Craig Anderson, Vice President:
Craig has been involved in the aviation industry since 1984 and is a Private Pilot. He has extensive experience in general aviation operations and aircraft maintenance. Craig is also the Vice President and General Manager of G&N Aircraft, Griffith Aviation, and Northwest Aviation and is also the Manager of the Griffith-Merrillville Airport. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Aviation Association of Indiana and has served in leadership positions in charitable organizations. He served in the U.S. Army and has an AS Degree from Indiana University and a BS from Calumet College of St. Joseph.
Dennis Wyman: Sales, Service & Support
Dennis began his aviation career in 1973 at G&N Aircraft after graduating from Nichels Engineering School of Technology. Dennis is well known in the aviation industry for his vast technical knowledge of aircraft, engines and accessories. Dennis is an FAA Certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with an Inspection Authorization. He has attended and conducted numerous aircraft engine related classes and seminars over his 28 years in aviation.
Jim Yearsich: Sales Manager
Jim has been involved in aviation his entire life, belonging to a family who has always owned and flown aircraft. Jim began working in aviation as a line service technician during high school. He began his career at G&N while attending college at Purdue University, where obtained his Bachelors Degree. Jim is also a pilot and enjoys flying when he is able. Jim has extensive knowledge of aircraft engines and accessories and also has participated and given numerous presentations on aircraft engines at seminars, conventions and club meetings.
Tom Yearsich: Director of Maintenance (Airframe)
Tom has also been involved in aviation his entire life, belonging to a family who has always owned and flown aircraft. Tom attended Purdue University and graduated in 1995 with a B.S. in Aviation Technology. Tom began working for G&N after his graduation as an aircraft mechanic, eventually becoming Director of Maintenance. Tom holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate with an Inspection Authorization. Tom has attended the Lycoming Factory Engine School, Pratt & Whitney PT6 School, and attended numerous industry seminars. He also won the FAA AMT Gold Award 1999 and 2000.
